Full description

Escape the coast for a day and immerse yourself in the stunning natural beauty of Plitvice Lakes National Park, Croatia’s oldest and most famous national park and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This full-day guided tour takes you from the Adriatic to the lush green heart of inland Croatia, where a landscape of waterfalls, lakes, and pristine forests awaits.

We begin our journey with a comfortable drive from Zadar through the scenic countryside toward Entrance 1 of the national park. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your professional guide who will lead you through one of the most breathtaking natural areas in Europe.

Our walking tour starts with the Lower Lakes, where turquoise waters wind their way through dramatic limestone canyons. You’ll stroll along wooden boardwalks that take you just above the clear water and cascading waterfalls, including a visit to the iconic Veliki slap, Croatia’s tallest waterfall at 78 meters.

From there, the experience continues with a tranquil electric boat ride across Kozjak Lake, the largest and most serene of the 16 interconnected lakes. This peaceful ride offers a moment to rest and take in the incredible surroundings, from the calm waters to the thick forested hills that rise above them.

After the boat ride, we continue our tour to the Upper Lakes, where a series of smaller waterfalls, crystal-clear pools, and forested trails create a true fairytale landscape. Each step offers a new perspective, a perfect photo opportunity, and a deeper connection to nature.

To conclude the tour, we hop aboard the electric panoramic train, which takes us on a scenic ride through the forested hills and offers one last sweeping view of this magical park before returning to our starting point.

This tour is suitable for all ages and is the perfect choice for nature lovers, hikers, photographers, or anyone looking to discover the untouched beauty of Croatia beyond the coastline.
